The Governor of the Volgograd region Brovko dismissed.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on dissolution of the Head of Administration of the Volgograd region, Anatoly Brovko.
Brovko head area the past two years - from January 2010. From September 2006 to May 2009 he was vice-governor of Volgograd region.
The decree states that Brovko resigned voluntarily.
acting head of Volgograd Region Administration appointed former mayor of Astrakhan Bozhenov Sergei, who joined after the December elections to the Duma.
Bozhenov elected deputy of the Astrakhan obldumy in 1997 and 2001. In 2004, applied for the post of governor of the Astrakhan region, but withdrew his candidacy. In December 2004, elected mayor of Astrakhan (40.16% votes), re-elected in October 2009 (65.56%). Since 2006 - member of "United Russia".
