United Russia has expelled the former mayor of Volgograd.
24 February, it became known that the ex-mayor of Volgograd Roman Grebennikov sacked by the Governor of Anatoly Bravko, was expelled from the ranks of United Russia.
Bureau of the party felt that Grebennikov discredited the United Russia party.
Grebennikov the resignation took effect the day before, but on Feb. 24, according to RIA Novosti, he appealed to the Central district court of Volgograd.
