According to Transportation Minister Igor Levitin, a priority in 2010 will be a build-up of works on reconstruction of federal highways M4 "Don" and M5 "Ural", which is the largest number of accidents.

On the reconstruction of the Rostov area trails M4 will be allocated to the order of 5 billion rubles.

According to the Ministry of Transport of Russia, annually during the summer on the road M4 "Don" killed about 3 thousand people. In particular, July 24 on the road "Don" in 2 kilometers from the traffic police post near the village of Samara experienced bus "Ikarus" and maslovoz. The blow was so strong that on both machines there was only a heap of metal. In a car crash killed 21 people, injured eight. M5 motorway passes through the ten regions of Russia, its length - 1800 km. This highway passes, in particular, via Moscow, Ryazan, Penza, Samara, Ufa and Chelyabinsk.
